I learned this week that there is a better time to close the sale and rather than just going through my spiel and leaving or pushing for the business to listen to the buying signal before attempting to close. In the past it has been a stressful time and there has been some anxiety about wining the customer. I believe that my attitude is shifting in regards to this. Also this week has really lead me to question my view of objections. I always thought that I was good at handling objections / rejections however I see that like most people there is a fear failure. What I have done is look at my approach to selling and decided to take objections in all areas of my life and practise the ‘Top Gun Stair Step Method” for handling them.
