In 1978 Wayne Berry met a remarkable man and sat in on his seminar for the first time. That meeting and that seminar changed Wayne’s life for ever. (Read more below…)

That man was E. James Rohn, and that seminar was “The Challenge To Succeed”. The video above is a recording of that very same four and a half hour seminar. Wayne promoted that first seminar in Australia in Melbourne to his clients and around 300 turned up at the old Melbourne Motor Inn in Flemington Road, Melbourne.

It was the beginning on a new division of Wayne’s company which until 1989 promoted some of the world’s most famous speakers and authors including Dr Denis E. Waitley, Brian Tracy, Zig Ziglar, Tom Hopkins, Earl Nightingale, Dr Norman Vincent Peale, Mark Victor-Hansen, Herb Cohen, Roger Dawson, Dan McBride, Nido Qubein, Sheila Murray-Bethel, Alan Pease, Jim Cathcart, Tony Alessandra, Spencer Johnson and many others.

Wayne sat in on that seminar many, many times in cities all over Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia over the next 10 years as he traveled with Jim Rohn (as he was known to his friends) to seminars and workshops promoted by Wayne’s company. Indeed Jim Rohn presented this seminar thousands of times, to millions of people across 87 countries until he left the planet on December 5, 2009.

Some seminar promoters in different parts of the world renamed some of Jim’s Seminars at times for promotional purposes. Hence you will see that this video calls this seminar “How To Have Your Best Year Ever”. It is in fact Jim’s famous “Challenge To Succeed” Seminar. Whilst this recording was made in the 1980s, the strategies and philosophies that James Rohn shares are timeless and just as relevant today as they were then.
