He suggest that you help your distributors to strengthen their skills in 2 main areas. By doing this you strengthen your relationship with your distributors, build their loyalty (in same cases they may have a choice to offer your product or another) and help them to build their businesses. Selling through distributors could be worth considering if you are not doing this already, but don’t make the mistake of thinking they can sell as well as you. They probably will be able to but you will likely need to train them, not just a the outset, but on an ongoing basis.
